The profile of
my beloved sweetheart Steffi and frequent UW assistant is
a bit different than mine as she is not that crazy for diving
as I am. But at least almost... ;-)
Steffi and Olaf
Dahab, Sinai/Egypt
Steffi started her dive career already in 1992 and did her OW course during a
several-months taking rucksack tour throughout Australia and Southeast Asia.
After a couple of years without scuba diving she rediscovered her fascination for the
underwater world during some joint Sinai dive trips.
At the end of the first of two working sessions in
Khao Lak/Thailand
her real passion and long lasting dream got finally fulfilled:
Working as a whale watch guide on the sailing catamaran
'Blue Dolphin' in Hervey Bay, Queensland/Australia.

Steffi and Humpback Whale
Hervey Bay, Australia
All in all Steffi has worked for three seasons in Hervey Bay. Humpback whales and their
calves migrate every year between August and October in Platypus Bay.
These huge marine mammals can be often observed very closely - a fascinating and exciting
nature experience!
